How did all start? |

Living outside Greece for many years, I have been involved in many conversations about Greece and its people: I was surprised to realize that most of my friends didn’t know much about my nation and its contribution to our civilization. Therefore, when I started my own webpage in 1996, I made a special section on “Famous Greeks” in order to let people know about famous Greek actors, musicians, poets, writers, philosophers and generally everyone who was famous internationally and of Greek descent. Since then, I have received many e-mails from people for this part of my site: Recommendations, suggestions for people who were (and some of them still are) missing from my webpage, questions ans. All these made the site bigger and this was why I decided to “autonomize” it—so here we are! Enjoy your stay around and please keep the suggestions and comments coming— I would love to hear from you :) |
